Hi there! I’m Pete, the founder and editor-in-chief of Do You Even Pizza!
My Background
When I was a little kid, my grandmother would always stock up on tiny Red Baron frozen pizzas.
They weren’t exactly world-class pizzas–but it was the experience of eating pizza that made me obsessed with them.
Obviously, I’ve branched out in my pizza taste over the years, but one thing remained: pizza has ALWAYS been my favorite food, and I’m obsessed with making my own pizza!
In recent years…
- I bought my own outdoor pizza oven
- I’ve traveled the world in search of the best pizza (I eat pizza on every trip I take, including Rome and Naples, Italy!)
- I make pizza at home every single week (Detroit-style is my current obsession)
I also have formal experience in the pizza industry, having worked in local pizzerias as well as large pizza chains (I won’t mention which one).
